What is Explosivepolitics.com?
Explosivepolitics.com is devoted to providing the most relevant and up to date information for the study of political violence, terrorism, anti-terrorism and radicalisation. On this website you will find timely articles and commentary, research news and other information relevant to scholars with an interest in understanding how violence emerges and develops from episodes of contentious politics.
The section NEWS is dedicated to the next workshops, conferences and call for papers. The section BLOG is dedicated to reports, commentary and the discussion of topical issues in political violence, terrorism, antiterrorism, escalation and radicalisation. The section REVIEWS points to newly released publications (books, academic articles and special issues) dedicated to contentious politics, political violence, terrorism, anti-terrorism and radicalisation. In the section INTERVIEWS, you will found short interviews of lawyers, academics, artists, filmmakers, journalists and past or present political activists. The Section PRIMARY SOURCES is about the different repositories and archives available when it comes to learn more about the literature produced by clandestine organisations and, eventually to study political violence in a more in-depth and accurate way. We all tend to scurry towards new publications, new concepts and therefore overlook outdated ones. The section BRIC-A-BRAC encompasses a broad range and variety of books and miscellaneous.
